The Founder

Anna
Gevorgyan Motta

Founder · Artist · Designer

Over twenty years of experience across art, leather craftsmanship, fashion and haute couture.

In 2004, she graduated in Decorative Arts and Design, establishing a foundation that brings together artistic culture, technical expertise and design.

Her career has evolved across fashion, leather goods and haute couture, through collaborations and projects within the worlds of high fashion and entertainment, alongside specialized studies in Fashion Design, Pattern Making and Fashion Product Management.

After more than two decades devoted to fashion and artistic research, Anna gave form to her vision by founding ARA MOTTA. Thus was born an Italian maison of wearable art, where leather becomes canvas and each creation takes shape through the encounter between the artist’s vision, the material and the gesture of her hand.

ARA MOTTA creations are produced in extremely limited editions, respecting the time and meticulous care required to create each work. Limited production is not dictated by the market, but is the natural consequence of an artistic process.
